From The Heart

Introduction by Sophia Wong
"Face To Face"
There is a special feeling you get when you sit in God's presence. It is something I need everyday. I realized this as I grew in my relationship with my husband. I just do not feel “right” if I do not get to spend enough time with him. God wants me to love Him even more and I know I truly do not feel “right” if I do not see God face to face each day.
"God Never Changes"
This song was written for the musical “Who's Calling?”. The scene starts with a Julia remembering her close college friend. As the friend sings “God Never Changes”, Julia remembers her death. Julia does not want change, but she is put in a position where she has to acknowledge change. Even though the song was written for the musical, this song has special meaning due to the fact my aunt had just passed away. She was like a mother to me, guiding me through life and reminding me that life constantly changes, but everything about God never changes. His love, his salvation, his principles transcend time.
"The Warrior is a Child"
The Warrior is a Child has special meaning if you are the person holding everything together. I put on my different hats everyday: wife, mother, daughter, choir director, etc. I don courage, confidence, authority, patience and…. I go running like a scared little girl to my Savior's arms every night.
